SPECTACLES

by Bill Kochman

12-02-2016

We are a spectacle to the world,
Extremists some even dare to say,
They just don’t understand us,
And they don’t embrace our way.

They claim that we are all crazy,
Our beliefs are just pie in the sky,
Yet one thing of which I’m certain,
We know our fate when we die.

But nonbelievers have no hope,
And can look only to the grave,
Salvation waits not for them,
Nor the Gift that Jesus gave.
