When friends desert you and family takes flight,
\nWhen your joy turns to sorrow and day to night,
\nWhen the demons of hell roar and fill with fright,
\nRemember, you are His.<\/p>\n

When love abandons you and loneliness steps in,
\nWhen peace departs and turmoil fills you within,
\nWhen darkness surrounds you and tempts to sin,
\nRemember, you are His.<\/p>\n

You are His, dear child, don’t you ever forget,
\nYou are His, dear child, tho Satan casts his net,
\nYou are His, dear child, there’s no need to fret,
