BETRAYAL<\/p>\n

Now as the Disciples dined,
\nThat vile Devil entered in,
\nJudas then left the feast,
\nTo commit his terrible sin.<\/p>\n

For thirty pieces of silver,
\nThe price that they paid,
\nHe would lead to the place,
\nWhere he knew Jesus stayed.<\/p>\n

With both swords and staves,
\nHe came with a group of men,
\nIt was the hour of darkness,
\nWe know what happened then.<\/p>\n

So Judas Iscariot drew near,
\nHe gave the Master a kiss,
\nPeter pulled out his sword,
\n“No, it must be like this!”<\/p>\n

Filled with so much fear,
\nThe Disciples then all fled,
\nBut as for betrayer Judas,
\nThose demons filled his head.<\/p>\n

It was the following morning,
\nWhen before Pilate Jesus came,
\nThat Judas finally repented,
\nHe no longer felt the same.<\/p>\n

Thus he cast down the silver,
\n“Innocent blood I’ve betrayed”,
\nBut there was no getting out,
\nOf the evil bargain he had made.<\/p>\n

So filled with so much remorse,
\nHe went to a purchased field,
\nWhere he quickly hung himself,
\nIn this way the man was killed.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
