In this modern world of politics,
\nThe truth doesn\u2019t reign supreme,
\nWords are said, bills are passed,
\nAre they always what they seem?<\/p>\n

Some bills can be so very long,
\nThey are really quite the ream,
\nJust trying to read it all in time,
\nIt is quite frankly just a dream.<\/p>\n

Hidden in the multitude of words,
\nPoliticians oft plot and scheme,
\nTrying to promote their agenda,
\nThey’ll really go to the extreme.<\/p>\n

So be careful and ditch the pork,
\nGet that bill down to the cream,
\nFor if you don\u2019t, you will regret it,
