LOST WORLD <\/p>\n

The world that I grew up in,
\nDoes not exist anymore,
\nSomewhere along the way,
\nWas it just shown the door?<\/p>\n

Life has never been perfect,
\nBut better when I was a kid,
\nWe were happy and healthy,
\nWith all those things we did.<\/p>\n

We played outside till sunset,
\nThen read books in our bed,
\nChildren respected parents,
\nDoing whatever they said.<\/p>\n

Cell phones didn\u2019t exist then,
\nNo noses glued to a screen,
\nTV & movies had no cussing,
\nOur world was rather clean.<\/p>\n

We learned to be responsible,
\nOur chores had to be done,
\nThen as the weekend came,
\nWe were allowed to have fun.<\/p>\n

Moms and dads got married,
\nThere wasn\u2019t any other way,
\nMale & female were normal,
\nNot like the confusion today.<\/p>\n

Abortion was not yet legal,
\nPraying in schools was okay,
\nBabies were all welcomed,
