AMERICA THE BEAUTIFUL?<\/p>\n

We sing of America the beautiful,
\nIndeed the land may it always be,
\nBut when I look at all her people,
\nSomething so very different I see.<\/p>\n

There’s so much hostility & anger,
\nWe see it raging from sea to sea,
\nOur politics have so divided us,
\nMy friends this just should not be.<\/p>\n

Our patience, love and compassion,
\nSeem to have suddenly taken flight,
\nInstead we are rude with our words,
\nWe all prefer to yell, kick and fight.<\/p>\n

We have lost sight of our foundation,
\nForefathers found it in God’s Word,
\nBut today so many rebel against Him,
\nTerrible sins like we’ve never heard.<\/p>\n

Yes so haughty has become America,
\nHer rebellion she flaunts in His face,
\nBut if we don’t repent and be humble,
\nGod may just move us from our place.<\/p>\n

From our pedestal God will knock us,
\nThe Lord may even grind us to dust,
\nHis longsuffering is truly enduring,
\nBut He will chastise us if He must.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
