“Not slothful in business; fervent in spirit; serving the Lord;” “And we desire that every one of you do shew the same diligence to the full assurance of hope unto the end: That ye be not slothful, but followers of them who through faith and patience inherit the promises.” “And how I kept back nothing that was profitable unto you, but have shewed you, and have taught you publickly, and from house to house . . . Then I saw, and considered it well: I looked upon it, and received instruction. Yet a little sleep, a little slumber, a little folding of the hands to sleep: So shall thy poverty come as one that travelleth; and thy want as an armed man.” “The slothful man saith, There is a lion in the way; a lion is in the streets.
