When I was a young Christian,
\nQuite a number of years ago,
\nI learned that faith is a seed,
\nWhich takes God’s Word to grow.<\/p>\n

But it seems that over the years,
\nThe enemy snuck into God’s fold,
\nAnd it really boggles my mind,
\nWhat people are now being told.<\/p>\n

So many money-hungry preachers,
\nTwist the meaning of God’s Word,
\nSaying plant a seed out of need,
\nI find it all so devilishly absurd.<\/p>\n

Yes, wicked prosperity preachers,
\nMaking gullible people believe,
\nThe more money seeds they plant,
\nThen the more they will receive.<\/p>\n

But their doctrine is just so evil,
\nThat is not even how it works,
\nThe truth has been so perverted,
\nBy those lying, deceptive jerks.<\/p>\n

The Bible says to give freely,
\nDon’t expect anything in return,
\nYet the wolves tell their flocks,
\nThe more you give you will earn.<\/p>\n

Thus giving then becomes selfish,
\nIt is not what Jesus ever taught,
\nSo ignore those greedy snakes,
\nPlease don’t listen to their rot.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
