REST IN JESUS <\/p>\n

As this old world grows ever colder,
\nAnd so many turn towards the night,
\nRejecting all of God’s messengers,
\nOur burden no longer seems so light.<\/p>\n

Indeed, as another year progresses,
\nWe find ourselves even more defamed,
\nThey accuse us of hatred and bigotry,
\nFor many other things we are blamed.<\/p>\n

They pile accusations on our backs,
\nAnd weigh us down with all their lies,
\nBut a weak Christian may not bear it,
\nYes, no matter how hard he even tries.<\/p>\n

But there is one really simple solution,
\nWhich can help us all to rise above,
\nWe have to maintain our eyes on Jesus,
\nNever doubting in His wonderful love.<\/p>\n

Remember one thing the Lord told us,
\nIs that the load isn’t ours alone to bear,
\nWe must cast all our burdens on Him,
\nKnowing that He will always be there.<\/p>\n

So please rest your troubles in Jesus,
\nNo matter how dark your day may get,
\nThe Lord will handle every situation,
\nThere is no need for you to ever fret.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
