Oh how we love our electronic gadgets,
\nWe use them almost every single day,
\nBut what if something were to happen,
\nAnd suddenly they are taken all away?<\/p>\n
Now just stop and think for a moment,
\nExactly how your life would then be,
\nWe are so dependent on our inventions,
\nWould we be driven to total insanity?<\/p>\n
If you believe that I over exaggerate,
\nWhat if the Internet drops for an hour?
\nNice folks angrily growl at their ISP,
\nOh yes, they quickly become very sour.<\/p>\n
But imagine if all of our devices stop,
\nFor at least weeks, months or even more,
\nSo many things that we take for granted,
\nWe would come to a standstill for sure.<\/p>\n
Cooking, banking, shopping and driving,
\nEntertainment, clocks, phones & cooling,
\nWe’d go nuts without all of these things,
\nSo tell me who do we think we’re fooling?<\/p>\n
Such a bleak scenario is quite possible,
\nA powerful solar flare could do us all in,
\nOr a bomb exploded in the atmosphere,
\nCould help the other side to quickly win.<\/p>\n
Yet even tho we’re aware of the danger,
\nWhat can we do to avoid such a fate?
\nWe are so enslaved by our creations,
\nQuite frankly, I dare say it is too late.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
