SKEWED VIEWS <\/p>\n

I am really sorry to have to tell you,
\nAnd although I’m not trying to be rude,
\nWell, the simple truth of the matter,
\nIs that your beliefs are rather skewed.<\/p>\n

You embrace the Futurist perspective,
\nWhich puts prophecies in times ahead,
\nYet if you carefully inspect the Bible,
\nYou will discover you have been misled.<\/p>\n

The deception began in the early 1800s,
\nIn both Great Britain and in the U.S.,
\nWith MacDonald, Darby & the Millerites,
\nWho all created quite a doctrinal mess.<\/p>\n

Through a misinterpretation of Daniel,
\nThey arrived at the wrong conclusion,
\nAnd tho a Great Disappointment came,
\nToday there’s still doctrinal confusion.<\/p>\n

Many have hopped on the bandwagon,
\nFrom Left Behind to Adventists & more,
\nYet they’ll all end up so disappointed,
\nJust like those Millerites were before.
\nP
\nlease listen to my words in this poem,
\nBecause I was once under a delusion,
\nI likewise believed as I had too heard,
\nTill God gave me a big Word infusion.<\/p>\n

Eventually it became apparent to me,
\nI was misguided by doctrines of men,
\nBut after many years of Bible study,
