NUKE BUDDIES<\/p>\n

Lukashenko and Vlad Putin,
\nOh yes, what a lovely pair,
\nThey’ve got eyes on Ukraine,
\nTalk of nukes is in the air.<\/p>\n

But surely it’s just bravado,
\nNuclear war no one can win,
\nFor there is no stopping it,
\nShould a conflict ever begin.<\/p>\n

Mutually assured destruction,
\nIt has such a wonderful sound,
\nBy the time those bombs stop,
\nThere’ll be no one left around.<\/p>\n

Once humans leave the scene,
\nRats and roaches will be kings,
\nSpiders, snakes and scorpions,
\nOther delightful creepy things.<\/p>\n

Then as Nuclear Winter sets in,
\nAnd days grow so dark & cold,
\nVegetation will soon die off,
\nAnd all life will lose its hold.<\/p>\n

Now perhaps after many years,
\nAn alien race will pass us by,
\nThey’ll look down at our planet,
\nAnd wonder, just why, oh why?<\/p>\n

A pretty jewel in the heavens,
\nBestowed by the Almighty God,
\nThru greed and pride destroyed,
\nNow just a scarred & ugly clod.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
