How many times have we heard it,
\nFrom famous preachers and more,
\nWhen it comes to Christ’s Return,
\nThey have said He is at the door.<\/p>\n
Over and over they have told us,
\nWhile the years keep passing by,
\nSomething’s seriously wrong here,
\nHave they been promoting a lie?<\/p>\n
Clearly, every single one of them,
\nHas eventually fallen on their face,
\nOne false prediction after another,
\nIt is really such a terrible disgrace.<\/p>\n
But why do they all keep failing?
\nWhat is it that they refuse to see?
\nNow if I may offer my own opinion,
\nThey’ve misunderstood prophecy.<\/p>\n
Yes, trying to force the Scriptures,
\nTo conform to their point of view,
\nIs not the way to teach the Bible,
\nIt could result in a confusing stew.<\/p>\n
If they try to make some verse say,
\nWhat the Lord just did not intend,
\nThere is certainly a good chance,
\nThe Most High they could offend.<\/p>\n
Rather than be true messengers,
\nSharing the light of God’s Word,
\nThey\u2019ll be misguided messengers,
\nSpouting off something so absurd.<\/p>\n
It’s only by revelation of the Spirit,
\nThat true understanding will arise,
\nWe must humbly forsake our ideas,
\nSo that He can open both our eyes.<\/p>\n
Each verse will then fall into place,
\nWith so very little effort on our part,
\nThere won’t be a need to struggle,
\nGod’s truth will just flood our heart.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
