Yes, so many turn against us,
\nThey hate us more each day,
\nRefusing the light we share,
\nAnd rejecting God’s holy way.<\/p>\n

They are lovers of darkness,
\nHiding their sins in the night,
\nTry to tell them God’s Word,
\nFor them it is just too bright.<\/p>\n

No, they don’t want to listen,
\nThey prefer the Devil’s lies,
\nSo they mock and avoid us,
\nTho we try to open their eyes.<\/p>\n

It’s such a very sad situation,
\nWhen someone’s heart is hard,
\nThey put up all their defenses,
\nNever letting down their guard.<\/p>\n

Though we try to save them,
\nBy telling them about the Lord,
\nThey sink in sin’s mirky waters,
\nAnd refuse to jump on board.<\/p>\n

Someday they’ll surely know,
\nHow foolish they have been,
\nWhile others enter God’s City,
