OUTCAST <\/p>\n

Now, if you are feeling rejected,
\nKnow you are in good company,
\nThe Lord was also an outcast,
\nDuring the very first century AD.<\/p>\n

True, He had lots of followers,
\nSometimes thousands of men,
\nBut when the pressure was on,
\nWe know what happened then.<\/p>\n

Yes, they called Him Messiah,
\nJust as long as they were fed,
\nYet when He was sent to Pilate,
\nThey really wanted Him dead.<\/p>\n

Jesus warned all the Apostles,
\nWhat would be their final fate,
\nBy boldly preaching the Gospel,
\nThem the world would then hate.<\/p>\n

Today it’s not so very different,
\nIf the Gospel we boldly preach,
\nWe will be attacked sometimes,
\nBy the people we try to reach,<\/p>\n

So just know you’re an outcast,
\nWith a divine mission to fulfill,
\nAnd once your tasks are over,
\nYou will live on God’s Holy Hill.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
