FRUITFULNESS <\/p>\n

As that old Apostle Paul wrote,
\nFaithful stewards we must be,
\nIf the Lord gives us our talents,
\nWe should use them diligently.<\/p>\n

Whether it’s five talents or ten,
\nYes, invest them in God’s field,
\nDon’t dare foolishly bury them,
\nRather fruit they should yield.<\/p>\n

We don’t know what will result,
\nThirty, or sixty, or maybe more,
\nJust use whatever God gives,
\nAnd He will be pleased I’m sure.<\/p>\n

If we should decide to slack off,
\nYes, just waste what God gave,
\nHe’ll be very disappointed in us,
\nThat is no way for us to behave.<\/p>\n

In the Bible we learn quite a lot,
\nAbout a particular fruitless tree,
\nJesus chose to curse that thing,
\nAnd eventually it ceased to be.<\/p>\n

The Lord taught about branches,
\nWhich were thrown into the fire,
\nThat is just what might happen,
\nSo of serving God don’t you tire.<\/p>\n

Fulfill His highest will for your life,
\nUse your talents to the very max,
\nBear fruit for His holy Kingdom,
\nAnd He’ll never give you the axe.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
