Christmas was shunned in America,
\nBy Puritans until at least 1836,
\nSo why are modern U.S. Christians,
\nHung up on a yearly Christmas fix?<\/p>\n

Jesus wasn’t born in cold December,
\nThe RCC took a pagan Roman holiday,
\nIt was the feast called Saturnalia,
\nWhen men were drunk, rowdy and gay.<\/p>\n

Jesus can’t be put into Christmas,
\nHe was never there from the start,
\nIf you want to honor your Savior,
\nThen invite Him into your heart.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
