It started out so very innocently,
\nYou thought you were in control,
\nBut before long you were trapped,
\nAs they sucked at your poor soul.<\/p>\n
You promised yourself to be safe,
\nBy carefully monitoring your time,
\nBut your vow did not last too long,
\nSo you commit social network crime.<\/p>\n
You opened an account everywhere,
\nMany passwords now fill your head,
\nMinutes soon turn into long hours,
\nAs you catch up on what’s not read.<\/p>\n
Fast food sits all over your desk,
\nYou just can’t pull yourself away,
\nSo sucked in by your online world,
\nYou don’t know if it is night or day.<\/p>\n
Look at all the money you’ve spent,
\nFor sponsored ads & to be verified,
\nYou’re now social king of the world,
\nBut they have taken you for a ride!<\/p>\n
So hooked you cannot break away,
\nYour social addiction is too strong,
\nDeceived by the persona you made,
\nYou don’t realize something is wrong.<\/p>\n
Posts, tweets and truths everywhere,
\nWhich ones should you answer first?
\nMeanwhile private messages pile up,
\nYour poor head may very soon burst.<\/p>\n
Though you should just take a rest,
\nSocial addiction will not let you go,
\nBut if do not slow down your pace,
