SPACE RACE <\/p>\n

Ever since the early 1960s,
\nThere has been a great race,
\nThe super powers are in on it,
\nThey want to conquer space.<\/p>\n

For me it presents a dilemma,
\nWhen I look at our own place,
\nWars are everywhere we look,
\nIt is really such a big disgrace.<\/p>\n

So much fighting and killing,
\nSadly many problems we face,
\nNow if such things occur here,
\nWhy leave our earthly base?<\/p>\n

We should not reach the stars,
\nUntil we slow our violent pace,
\nIt is simply not our right to do,
\nI think I’ve made a solid case.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
