You say you’re okay without Jesus,
\nAnd everything is perfectly fine,
\nYou insist you’re a good person,
\nWho never crosses the moral line.<\/p>\n
You boast your life is going well,
\nYou’ve got a job, family and friends,
\nBut there is one thing to consider,
\nWhat happens when your life ends.<\/p>\n
Yes, our life on Earth is important,
\nGod put us each here for a reason,
\nBut after a certain number of years,
\nWe will reach the end of our season.<\/p>\n
Our earthly existence will fade away,
\nAnd into eternity we shall each go,
\nWhere we will face the big question,
\nIt’s something we really need to know.<\/p>\n
For stripped of our earthly garment,
\nBefore the great God we shall stand,
\nThe record books will then be opened,
\nAnd an account the Lord will demand.<\/p>\n
Now you can speak of your goodness,
\nAll the wonderful things you’ve done,
\nBut in the end it will all be worthless,
\nIf you never acknowledged God’s Son.<\/p>\n
Though you thought yourself righteous,
\nGod’s standard is higher than yours,
\nThus after you have given your speech,
\nThe Angels will show you to the doors.<\/p>\n
So shocked by this unexpected outcome,
\nYou may protest as you’re carried away,
\nPlease don’t let this be your own story,
\nBe smart and accept Jesus Christ today.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
