Whether you’re America’s son or a daughter,
\nWell, sorry, but you’re still just cannon fodder.
\nOf course, they’ll make you promises galore,
\nAnything to convince you to fight their war.<\/p>\n

They will talk about patriotism, you will see,
\nTell you you’re helping to spread democracy.
\nNow just go kill the enemy and all will be well,
\nBut those countries have all turned into hell.<\/p>\n

Yes, look at nations where the USA invaded,
\nThere is no peace and now America is hated.
\nGo right ahead, count off nations one by one,
\nNot any of them is now democratically run.<\/p>\n

They all still squabble and they all still fight,
\nSo why did we send all our American might?
\nBillions of dollars spent & weapons sent too,
\nOne of these days they may use \u2018em on you.<\/p>\n

So when that sly recruiter offers you a chair,
