NEEDY CAT <\/p>\n

I have such a needy cat,
\nShe won’t leave me alone,
\nMaybe I would do better,
\nIf I had a human clone.<\/p>\n

Now whether I’m sleeping,
\nOr doing work at my desk,
\nMy demanding lady feline,
\nCan really be such a pest.<\/p>\n

She sits and stares at me,
\nRubs her face on my hand,
\nMy girl just will not let up,
\nUntil I meet her demand.<\/p>\n

Leading her to the kitchen,
\nTo see just what she wants,
\nIn typical feline fashion,
\nAway my kitty just jaunts.<\/p>\n

So no emergency existed,
\nAnd I’m left without a clue,
\nThis cat drives me so nuts,
\nWhat am I supposed to do?<\/p>\n

Then there are those times,
\nWhen a bug is in the house,
\nShe will meow and complain,
\nUntil I put down my mouse.<\/p>\n

Well, what does she expect?
\nI am just not ten feet tall,
\nThat bug is on the ceiling,
\nI cannot be any help at all.<\/p>\n

Such is life with my Polo,
\nShe’s master, I’m her slave,
\nYet despite her feistiness,
\nI will love her to the grave.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
