AT THE DROP OF A HAT<\/p>\n

Thinking you could die today,
\nIsn\u2019t a very pleasant thought,
\nBut we should talk about it,
\nWhether you want to or not.<\/p>\n

God has given to each one,
\nA specific number of years,
\nSome will be filled with joy,
\nOthers will bring you tears.<\/p>\n

But a day eventually comes,
\nWhen your time will run out,
\nIt is then that God will reveal,
\nJust what you were all about.<\/p>\n

He will open His great Book,
\nWherein your works are told,
\nScanning everything you did,
\nFrom birth until you grew old.<\/p>\n

But there is a particular thing,
\nHe will want to know for sure,
\nDid you open up your heart,
\nWhen He tapped your door?<\/p>\n

This is the key to everything,
\nWere you washed by His Son?
\nOr did you live your own way,
\nLiving in the flesh having fun?<\/p>\n

You could suddenly be gone,
\nYes, just at the drop of a hat,
\nNow if it suddenly happened,
\nFriend, where would you be at?<\/p>\n

And so before your time is up,
\nI urge you to think this through,
\nHave you accepted Jesus yet?
\nAre you in the Book of Life too?<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
