There must be consequences,
\nFor the life we have each led,
\nBut some refuse to believe it,
\nJust wait until they are dead.<\/p>\n

Then they will suddenly know,
\nHow wrong they have been,
\nWhen they stand before God,
\nWho then examines their sin.<\/p>\n

Yes, our every word and deed,
\nWill receive a specific weight,
\nWhat things were done in love,
\nWhich ones were done in hate.<\/p>\n

Once our entire life is laid bare,
\nAn attorney comes to the floor,
\nBut, alas, you will not have one,
\nFor Jesus you chose to ignore.<\/p>\n

Sadly, you\u2019ll stand there alone,
\nAs you try to plead your case,
\nTelling God how good you are,
\nWho looks intently in your face.<\/p>\n

Yet regardless of what you say,
\nYour innocence is a lost cause,
\nYou committed many mistakes,
\nAnd lived a life filled with flaws.<\/p>\n

You simply were not very smart,
\nWhen Jesus you didn\u2019t receive,
\nThus your life\u2019s slate isn\u2019t clean,
\nSo for you there is no reprieve.<\/p>\n

You must now bear the weight,
\nOf all the things you did wrong,
\nNo standing before the Throne,
