LABOR OF LOVE <\/p>\n

Sometimes I just grow so weary,
\nForces of darkness hide my light,
\nI work from early in the morning,
\nYes, often until very late at night.<\/p>\n

I pump out the truth of the Word,
\nMy one goal is to feed His sheep,
\nI faithfully pour through the Bible,
\nUntil my eyes beg for some sleep.<\/p>\n

So much deception now abounds,
\nThus God\u2019s truth I strive to reveal,
\nBut they work so hard against me,
\nIt is often one, long battle uphill.<\/p>\n

Just like the Prophets of long ago,
\nI find myself seeming quite alone,
\nIt is only by His Grace I continue,
\nTo see fruit from seed I\u2019ve sown.<\/p>\n

Someday all my battles will end,
\nMy old flesh won\u2019t take anymore,
\nThen I’ll gladly lay down my pen,
\nAs I walk through Heaven\u2019s door.<\/p>\n

But as for now, tho it can be hard,
\nI will continue in this labor of love,
\nRelying solely upon the Holy Spirit,
