He sank down, oh so very down,
\nAs the light quickly raced away,
\nHe had always rejected the Lord,
\nAnd now he would have to pay.<\/p>\n

Many scenes passed by his eyes,
\nAs he fell deeper into that hole,
\nHe saw folks reaching out to him,
\nTrying to save his miserable soul.<\/p>\n

But his pride made him say “No!”,
\nNo God would ever force his hand,
\nHis fear grew great, almost there,
