I am so happy that it is Easter,
\nIt is such a special time of year,
\nThere are so many chocolate bunnies,
\nThey make me smile from ear to ear.<\/p>\n

The Easter egg hunts do thrill me,
\nAnd jelly beans taste so really good,
\nIt is hard to resist eating too many,
\nEven though I know I really should.<\/p>\n

It is fun to dress up in our finest,
\nGirls put on their prettiest dress,
\nThe boys match it with their suits,
\nIt is all so lovely I must confess.<\/p>\n

Now if this is your idea of Easter,
\nThen you have got it so very wrong,
\nBecause all of this pagan nonsense,
\nDoes not with Easter really belong.<\/p>\n

It is not about rabbits and candy,
\nBut Jesus who rose from the dead,
\nWe celebrate Christ who is risen,
\nAnd who died for sin in our stead.<\/p>\n

So forsake all your vain traditions,
\nGive glory to whom it is really due,
\nFor He proved there is Life Eternal,
\nWhen our existence here is through.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
