In his foolish pride, man thinks he is so great,
\nBut compared to God, he is really second rate.
\nPuffed up in our ego, we posture and we boast,
\nSatan tried that too, and now he is just toast.<\/p>\n

A false image of ourselves, we like to present,
\nIf someone steals our limelight, them we resent.
\nSuch silly behavior, befits not a child of God,
\nBetter to be humble, although they think us odd.<\/p>\n

Dust thou art, and unto dust shalt thou return,
\nIn the Book of Job, God even calls man a worm.
\nBeware of your heart, it will lead you astray,
\nThere’s a Lake of Fire, for some on Judgment Day.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
