FROM ROCK TO THE ROCK <\/p>\n

I used to be one of those headbangers,
\nAlthough I never really banged my head,
\nI was into some early great rock bands,
\nMany are now very old or already dead.<\/p>\n

The Who, Chicago, Led Zepplin, Santana,
\nMoody Blues, Creedence, Alan Parsons too,
\nThe Doors and Emerson Lake and Palmer,
\nWow, Pink Floyd was so spacey it’s true.<\/p>\n

Crosby Stills Nash and Young plus Toto,
\nPhil Collins, Abba, Lobo, Iron Butterfly,
\nElectric Light Orchestra, Eagles, Kansas,
\nSome of those old songs really made me fly.<\/p>\n

There was Susie Q and In-A-Gadda-Da-Vida,
\nPlus Riders on the Storm and Old and Wise,
\nNights in White Satin and Eye in the Sky,
\nMan, I just really loved all of those guys.<\/p>\n

But you see, those days are now behind me,
\nAs Paul wrote, I am no longer that child,
\nFor long ago God’s Spirit took hold of me,
\nAnd I have ceased to be so young and wild.<\/p>\n

For many years now I have had a mission,
\nA message of hope better than any old song,
\nThe Lord invites you to His Home in Heaven,
\nMy prayer is that you will also come along.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
