FROM SAUL TO PAUL <\/p>\n

Once there was a Jew named Saul,
\nA very self-righteous Pharisee,
\nHe persecuted God’s early Church,
\nWith great rage and jealousy.<\/p>\n

He was so blinded by the Old Law,
\nThat he was simply unable to see,
\nGod’s new plan thru Jesus Christ,
\nWhich would set the captives free.<\/p>\n

Then it occurred one fateful day,
\nAs to Damascus he did take a ride,
\nGod decided that it was now time,
\nTo deal with his rebellious pride.<\/p>\n

Surrounded by Heaven’s great light,
\nThat man to the ground did so fall,
\nJesus said Why persecutest thou me?
\nThough the others saw nothing at all.<\/p>\n

Three days blind and no food or drink,
\nGod gave Saul some time to repent,
\nThen a miracle of healing occurred,
\nWhen to Saul, Ananias was then sent.<\/p>\n

From his eyes fell as it were scales,
\nAnd baptism is what took place next,
\nNow to learn the rest of Paul’s story,
