As I look back o’er my life,
\nOne thing becomes so clear,
\nThrough every trial I faced,
\nThe Father was always near.<\/p>\n

Even when I knew it not,
\nHe silently held my hand,
\nAnd tho at times I fell down,
\nI would still safely land.<\/p>\n

Our God works in such a way,
\nWe hardly know He is there,
\nLike a hen with her chicks,
\nHe keeps us in His care.<\/p>\n

It really is no wonder then,
\nI am still with you today,
\nThanks be to Father above,
