I picked up the morning paper,
\nJust to see what it had to say,
\nEvery story was very negative,
\nNot a single nice thing today.<\/p>\n

Well, as I kept on reading it,
\nMuch more depressed I became,
\nI bet that most other people,
\nWere also feeling just the same.<\/p>\n

God’s Word is so very different,
\nIt inspires joy & gives us hope,
\nSo as we live in this sad world,
