MATRIX MENTALITY <\/p>\n

Just look at all of those people,
\nStrung out on their chosen drug,
\nI try hard to get through to them,
\nBut they give a mindless shrug.<\/p>\n

Like zombies in a horror movie,
\nThey all gaze with a blank stare,
\nIt really causes me to question,
\nIf someone is actually in there.<\/p>\n

For some folks it is their politics,
\nWhile for others a denomination,
\nYet to me one thing is for certain,
\nThey’re under mental subjugation.<\/p>\n

Yes, they all seem to think alike,
\nAs they parrot their party’s plan,
\nThere’s no room for individuality,
\nThey’re caught in a matrix, man.<\/p>\n

While I boldly tell them the truth,
\nThey just blindly turn to the side,
\nAnd all the words I have spoken,
\nThey foolishly reject and deride.<\/p>\n

But someday my words will end,
\nThere won’t be any more to say,
\nFor the Lord’s mercy will cease,
\nHis judgment will be on its way.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
