The Trump trap and Kamala cage,
\nBoth are now a big political rage.
\nThey pretend to give us a choice,
\nGo ahead and choose your voice.<\/p>\n

You are convinced you\u2019re so free,
\nBut our rulers know it’s a fantasy.
\nStage puppets meant to amuse,
\nThey don’t care about your views.<\/p>\n

But the great illusion has to go on,
\nSo the elitists string us all along.
\nYour party goes to one extreme,
\nThe opposite of that other team.<\/p>\n

Oh how swell the game plays out,
\nDo you know what it is all about?
\nYes it\u2019s just controlled opposition,
\nIt never changes your condition.<\/p>\n

You work hard and pay every bill,
\nSo why is your life still so uphill?
\nWe are peons to an unseen hand,
\nMoney is their power in this land.<\/p>\n

Cogs in their machinery that is us,
\nDo your job and don’t make a fuss.
\nThrowing crumbs to keep us alive,
\nBut most people will never thrive.<\/p>\n

Thus politics is to offer you hope.
