CAMPAIGN PAIN IN THE BRAIN<\/p>\n

Twisted truths and outright lies,
\nYes, campaign season is here.
\nFrom the left and from the right,
\nThey both want to fill your ear.<\/p>\n

Boasting of what they\u2019ve done,
\nOr what they’re intending to do,
\nThere’s so much political banter,
\nI can’t wait till they’re all through.<\/p>\n

Back and forth, and left and right,
\nHow they love to yank our chain,
\nTrying to figure out what is true,
\nYour left with a burned out brain.<\/p>\n

So now when all is said and done,
\nAnd a new prez voters approve,
\nWill our lives still stay the same,
\nOr will everything really improve?<\/p>\n

It is a solid fact that talk is cheap,
\nAnd empty promises easily made,
\nYet despite after so many years,
\nDo we know we’ve been played?<\/p>\n

You may not like what I have said,
\nBut still you know that it is all true,
\nSo when election day rolls around,
