\nWhich the Bible makes very clear,
\nThat the time eventually arrives,
\nWhen the wicked grab God’s ear.<\/p>\n
\nHe gives us lots of time to repent,
\nBut if we remain in our defiance,
\nEventually judgment will be sent.<\/p>\n
\nThat such always is the final tale,
\nThe book of Psalms so warns us,
\nWicked shall be turned into hell.<\/p>\n
\nGreat evil covered all of the Earth,
\nSo God looked down from Heaven,
\nAnd pondered humanity’s worth.<\/p>\n
\nThat God regretted all He’d made,
\nThus while it pained Him greatly,
\nA heavy price just had to be paid.<\/p>\n
\nTo destroy everything with breath,
\nJust as God had first brought life,
\nNow He was delivering only death.<\/p>\n
\nThe Israelites were a rebellious lot,
\nAnd so time after time repeatedly,
\nGod’s Word reveals what they got.<\/p>\n
\nFamine & disease struck the land,
\nThe Lord was so angry with them,
\nThus they felt His righteous hand.<\/p>\n
\nSuch events were for admonition,
\nSo if people today are truly smart,
\nWe’ll examine our own condition.<\/p>\n
\nFrom the Lord’s divine instruction,
\nAnd can we possibly even now be,
\nFacing our very own destruction?<\/p>\n
\nHas God already closed His eyes,
\nOr does there remain a little time,
\nWhere He may still hear our cries?<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
