LET ME SLEEP! <\/p>\n

I just wanted to stay asleep,
\nBut he wouldn’t leave me alone,
\nThat preacher said some things,
\nHe invaded my personal zone.<\/p>\n

I’m already happy with my life,
\nSo why does he have to intrude?
\nSomeone should really tell him,
\nThat he’s being so awfully rude.<\/p>\n

He is worried about my soul,
\nI often hear preacher guy say,
\nHe warns me I need to repent,
\nOr I will regret it someday.<\/p>\n

That may be what he believes,
\nBut my mind took another route,
\nSo all of that Bible quoting,
\nHe really needs to cut it out.<\/p>\n

Buddy, let me just inform you,
\nI’ve heard your sermons before,
\nAnd to be quite frank with you,
\nI find them to be such a bore.<\/p>\n

That book you read is ancient,
\nIt no longer applies today,
\nSo why should I even listen,
\nTo anything you have to say?<\/p>\n

Yes, your Jesus was a great man,
\nBut many great men come and go,
\nSo please turn down your volume,
\nI am tired of hearing you crow.<\/p>\n

Thus think many nonbelievers,
\nOur faith they scorn and mock,
\nAs they sink lower in the mire,
\nAnd reject God’s one true Rock.<\/p>\n

Just incorrigible reprobates,
\nSo filled with their own pride,
\nBut one day they will face God,
