NEVER ALONE <\/p>\n

Oh you sweet dear foolish child,
\nDid you think He does not care?
\nAs you were feeling terribly lost,
\nDid you think He was not there?<\/p>\n

As problems tumbled about you,
\nAnd quickly closed in the night,
\nThough you were encompassed,
\nYet still you possessed His light.<\/p>\n

But sometimes God draws away,
\nTo a distance and yet not too far,
\nEven though you can’t sense Him,
\nHe knows exactly where you are.<\/p>\n

Now this feeling is not so foreign,
\nEven Jesus must’ve felt the same,
\nAs He hung on that Roman cross,
\nFor all of our sins He took blame.<\/p>\n

God, why have you forsaken me?
\nThose nearby heard Him cry out,
\nEven tho God was still with Him,
\nOf this there should be no doubt.<\/p>\n

So even though you may wonder,
\nAnd to doubts you may be prone,
\nJust always remember dear one,
\nGod never truly leaves you alone.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
