Oh you have such a black heart,
\nIt is so plain to see in your eyes,
\nYou’re filled with much darkness,
\nYou believed that old Devil’s lies.<\/p>\n
Although I’ve tried to reach you,
\nYour pride just gets in your way,
\nYou laugh at all my preaching,
\nAnd refuse to hear a word I say.<\/p>\n
So convinced you know better,
\nYou simply scoff at God’s Book,
\nWhen I try to show you verses,
\nYou resist taking a single look.<\/p>\n
You think my beliefs are funny,
\nYou’re persuaded I’m not smart,
\nBut someday you will face God,
\nAnd He will order you to depart.<\/p>\n
Only then will it finally hit you,
\nWhat an utter fool you’ve been,
\nAnd despite your desperate cry,
\nThe angels just won’t let you in.<\/p>\n
Yes, away they’ll then take you,
\nTo a place you don’t want to go,
\nYou will be consumed by the fire,
\nFor a truth you refused to know.<\/p>\n
Oh, indeed this is such a sad tale,
\nIt happens many times each day,
\nFolks so hardened in their hearts,
\nThey fully reject God’s holy way.<\/p>\n
Let my poem serve as a warning,
\nDon’t resist when given a chance,
\nWhen you hear talk about Jesus,
\nDon’t dare take a foolish stance.<\/p>\n
Believe the word that is spoken,
\nBe humble and accept the Lord,
\nBecause there’s two destinations,
