I haven’t always been faithful,
\nSometimes I have fallen down,
\nLife’s temptations are so many,
\nTo keep us from Heavenly Crown.<\/p>\n

But our God is so understanding,
\nHe knows we are but mere dust,
\nSeeing us only with eyes of love,
\nHis judgments are fair and just.<\/p>\n

Tho sometimes I disappoint Him,
\nAnd don’t quite reach the goal,
\nI have this blessed assurance,
