Now, if there is one thing you need to learn,
\nAll politicians embellish, lie and exaggerate.
\nThe truth is that dishonesty is in their blood,
\nYes, even before they\u2019ve gotten out the gate,<\/p>\n
In their minds, facts are actually fluid things,
\nWhich can be molded to support their view,
\nSure, just a little bit of tweaking here & there,
\nTo convince voters that what they say is true.<\/p>\n
However, if their fact is not really the full fact,
\nThen are their words not in actuality a big lie?
\nYet many people are willing to just let it slide,
\nSo should we not at least ask ourselves why?<\/p>\n
It seems that folks are willing to be deceived,
\nIf doing so demonstrates their loyal support,
\nThey know their candidate isn\u2019t being honest,
\nAnd yet they still allow them the truth distort.<\/p>\n
So it\u2019s all simply a game of lies and deception,
\nWhere voters support a candidate at any cost,
\nThey\u2019re willing to overlook his embellishments,
