NARROW-MINDED MAN<\/p>\n

I knew a narrow-minded man,
\nWho walked a very narrow way,
\nHe talked about Jesus Christ,
\nAll the live long day.<\/p>\n

Some folks didn’t like his message,
\nNot a word he had to say,
\nBut he was determined to remain,
\nFaithful come what may.<\/p>\n

No feel-good sermons did he preach,
\nNo, not a single one,
\nHis critics griped and groaned,
\n“Man, you’re just no fun!”<\/p>\n

“You need to loosen up”, they said,
\n“This is a modern day.”
\n“God accepts us just the way we are,
\nWe won’t have to pay.”<\/p>\n

But he refused to bow to pressure,
\nHe preached just God’s straight Word,
\nThose fools eventually walked away,
\nAs if they hadn’t even heard.<\/p>\n

Don’t you be like those folks,
\nRepent of your every sin,
\nIf you do, God will know,
\nSomeday His Kingdom you’ll walk within.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
