Brethren, you really need to wake up,
\nFrom that deception you’re all under,
\nTell me, what does God need to do,
\nMake His voice like a loud thunder?<\/p>\n
Although you may not even realize it,
\nYou are all most definitely deceived,
\nI understand where your head is at,
\nBecause at one time I also believed.<\/p>\n
But you see, time and serious study,
\nHave finally opened both of my eyes,
\nAs I delved deeply into the Holy Bible,
\nIt simply erased all of Futurism’s lies.<\/p>\n
For years I embraced that false hope,
\nThat Jesus would be returning soon,
\nBut after waiting for over 4 decades,
\nI realized that it’s a really bogus tune.<\/p>\n
The real truth is that for 200+ years,
\nMany preachers have been so wrong.
\nBut because of their popular status,
\nAll of their followers have gone along.<\/p>\n
Believing that the Bible promotes it,
\nThey never examined it for themself,
\nSo many do not read the Scriptures,
\nThat book just sits dusty on the shelf.<\/p>\n
Thus why should we be so surprised,
\nThat so many people look to the sky,
\nBut when their expectations all fail,
\nThey’ll all then begin to wonder why.<\/p>\n
Perhaps then they will finally listen,
\nTo the message that we try to share,
\nJesus kept His first century promise,
