So I went to the grocery store,
\nAnd ran into this cashier hag,
\nMan, that gal just gave me lip,
\nWhen I asked for a plastic bag.<\/p>\n

Then during the next minutes,
\nWhile my groceries she rings,
\nI glanced down into that cart,
\nAt each of my shopping things.<\/p>\n

My toothpaste in a plastic tube,
\nAnd my bread in a bag as well,
\nIf it were not for all that plastic,
\nSome things they couldn’t sell.<\/p>\n

Ketchup was in a plastic bottle,
\nContainers of honey plastic too,
\nLaundry soap in its plastic jug,
\nWithout plastic we’d be through.<\/p>\n

Yes, garbage bags were plastic,
\nMy chicken was in a plastic tray,
\nBatteries sealed in plastic also,
\nOh gosh, what more can I say?<\/p>\n

Cat toys were made of plastic,
\nA carton of eggs in styrofoam,
\nMan, you know I was steaming,
\nAs I carried all that stuff home.<\/p>\n

But adding more insult to injury,
\nIt makes understanding so hard,
\nWhen after she totals my items,
\nI have to pay with a plastic card!<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
