AMBASSADORS<\/p>\n

Well, I am no kind of prophet,
\nAnd certainly I am not a king,
\nI don’t have loads of money,
\nBut of this I will gladly sing.<\/p>\n

Even though I am not worthy,
\nIn fact, I am quite the mess,
\nGod led me into His Kingdom,
\nThus the Son I must confess.<\/p>\n

Many people are just like me,
\nWe are not special not at all,
\nYet God reached down to us,
\nWe heard His heavenly call.<\/p>\n

Out from this world we came,
\nWith a holy mission to fulfill,
\nStriving to please Him daily,
\nAs we go about doing His will.<\/p>\n

God’s ambassadors we are,
\nHis Kingdom we represent,
\nWe tell folks about the story,
\nOf a dear Savior that He sent.<\/p>\n

Some do not understand us,
\nThey say that we are not well,
\nIf they were to have their way,
\nWe would be locked in a cell.<\/p>\n

Tho the world may not like us,
\nYet the truth we try to preach,
\nSharing the Gospel with them,
\nHoping at least a few we reach.<\/p>\n

Someday our task will be over,
\nAnd we will each take our rest,
\nGod will reward us accordingly,
\nIf we have done our very best.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
