It used to be said, better dead than red,
\nBut there’s another way to understand it,
\nCovered by His Blood, hides all our mud,
\nOr our sins, so we’re not left stranded.<\/p>\n

For if we are not red, we’ll end up dead,
\nEternal Life won’t be ours for the taking,
\nOur sins will accuse us, when Satan sues us,
\nSo in needing Christ, there’s no mistaking.<\/p>\n

Only by His Blood red, can it truly be said,
\nThat forgiveness of sins can be acquired,
\nBut if we believe not, in a place very hot,
\nOne day we’ll surely find ourselves retired.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
