PEOPLE OR SHEEPLE? <\/p>\n

We often believe what we’ve heard,
\nNever doubting not a single word,
\nBlinded sheep, we follow the herd,
\nI’ve never seen anything so absurd.<\/p>\n

Oh we can all be such a sorry lot,
\nSwallowing lies tho truth it’s not,
\nIf our leaders in a lie are caught,
\nStill we nod “yes” to all their rot.<\/p>\n

With our comforts we feel so fine,
\nTho our politicians cross the line,
\nKeep us secure and we won’t whine,
\nLook at our nation, it’s in decline.<\/p>\n

Lies in the pulpit, we climb aboard,
\nTho it is not the Word of the Lord,
\nSuch deceptions we cannot afford,
\nFor God will send a terrible sword.<\/p>\n

It’s time to wake up and be alert,
\nWith God’s truth we should be girt,
\nBy the Spirit, we must all assert,
\nFail in this, it’s to our own hurt.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
