There’s a very troubling trend,
\nThey call it \u201ctwist and tweak\u201d,
\nI hear of a brand new doctrine,
\nJust about every single week.<\/p>\n

Babes wanting to be teachers,
\nOh how they make me freak,
\nThey say the craziest things,
\nEvery time they start to speak.<\/p>\n

Gosh, I really have to wonder,
\nIs that really even in the Bible?
\nThey should watch their words,
\nFor God will hold them all liable.<\/p>\n

Seriously, it would be frightful,
\nTo walk in some of their shoes,
\nI urge them to be more careful,
\nWith every word they choose.<\/p>\n

Make sure that what you teach,
\nIs according to God’s holy Word,
\nVerify it first with the Scriptures,
\nSo that you don’t sound absurd.<\/p>\n

For if you say something wrong,
\nAnd lead His dear sheep astray,
\nSome day you’ll be accountable,
