In this current day and age,
\nSome think it strange and odd,
\nThat our Heavenly Father above,
\nStill may use His righteous rod.<\/p>\n

You see, people on this Earth,
\nHave often become way too lax,
\nPunishing kids is way outdated,
\nWe don’t dare touch their backs.<\/p>\n

They also promote a God of love,
\nNot a wrathful one of years ago,
\nBut if you rebel, be real sure,
