God measures us not, by the color of our skin
\nNor by our social status, He looks deep within.
\nMoney fame and power, are the standards of men,
\nGod wants obedience, going when He says when.<\/p>\n

Yielding to His Will, is what God desires most,
\nGiving Him the glory, without a single boast.
\nSaul failed to do it, he went ahead of the Lord,
\nThinking he knew better, ignored Samuel’s word.<\/p>\n

In his foolish rebellion, King Saul lost it all,
\nStruck down in a battle, on his sword he did fall.
\nKing David was wiser, a man after God’s own heart,
\nSo from his house, the kingdom did not depart.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
